Sports company seeks Sales and Operations Manager (Blairgowrie, Randburg, JHB)

is an award winning start-up which provides head mounted cameras to the action
sports market including bikes, snowboarders, mountain bikers and F1 teams.
We were the
first to launch the concept of “action cameras” and have established a position
as the leader in the industry. We are looking to recruit a talented individual
to drive the growth of our business in South Africa. The full time role is
available immediately and will be based in Blairgowrie, Randburg, Johannesburg. You will
need your own transport.
The successful
candidate will be responsible for building sales and managing the daily
operations. Some of the main responsibilities will include:
- Managing
a network of trade customers
- Developing
sales and marketing material
- Building
our social media channels
- Answering
customer sales and support emails and calls
- Managing
and updating the website (no technical skills required)
- Co-ordinating
with our couriers to manage the logistics
- Managing
product stock controls
Experience
and Qualifications required:
- Sales / marketing experience both on and
offline
- SEO and CPC
- A can do attitude and enthusiasm
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and
written
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver to
tight deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal skills and customer
focused
- Use of social media for marketing and brand
building
- Flexibility and willingness to work as a team
member
- Attention to detail
- A passion for the sports market
Starting salary between R8k and R11k
dependent on experience and will be negotiated individually.
