The Muvi Atom from Veho is just 4cm's tall which makes it small enough to take with you on all your extreme sports adventures.
Filming at 640 x 480, the Muvi Atom really has got great quality video for a camera at this price level. The Atom includes all the sports mounts which had to be bought additionally to the older Muvi camera and is
worth R300. These mounts include straps and mounts to fit the little action camera to just about any surface, handlebar, or helmet - it can even be fitted onto the inside of a bike helmets visor and not obstruct your view at all.
The Muvi Atom comes with a 2Gb MicroSD card included in the box, this should give you approx 48mins of recording time. This can be expanded up to an 8Gb MicroSD card which will last over three hours.
Besides being smaller then its predecessor, a great advantage which the Muvi Atom has over the older Muvi is the ability to take still photographs. Although these are just 2 MegaPixels, it is still a neat feature to have on such a tiny action camera.
Viewing your videos and photos taken from the Muvi Atom is very easy, simply plug it into your computer with the provided USB leads and it will pop up for viewing. The formats are all standard, set to play straight away.

The Action Cameras Bottom Line
As with the previous Muvi, the Muvi ATOM really does impress you at first sight and touch by its quality build and design, the US design clearly puts this above any cheap cams from the East. Not that the mounting kit is included with the ATOM it is actually a better deal to go with this new version. Great design, great functionality, and brilliant price - the Muvi ATOM gets the thumbs up from us.
