The Ranger Trail Camera/ Camera Trap can be left in the outdoors for up to a year at a time and will capture photos or videos of anything that walks past it during the day and even at night. A motion detector that will activate the 5megapixel photos or 640 x 480 high quality video whenever anything crosses the path on which you've set your camera.
With this trail cam being able to fit in the palm of your hand, it is recognised as the world's smallest trail camera trap available. The small size also makes it easily portable and easy to set up on anything from a small branch to a fence post. Use the provided elasticated strap to attach it to larger trees or poles. Using a clamp mount (not included) helps to mount the camera to thinner branches or poles, it is also easily rotatable for tricky angles.
Night time photos are captured silently and without the use of a flash but rather with an Infra-red sensor so that the animal or person will not be disturbed by the flash. This makes the camera trap ideal for security uses additional to its use as a research camera.

If your trail camera trap captures a daily average of 15 day-time photos and 15 night-time photos then a single set of 8 AA batteries will last an entire year. You would need a 32Gb SD card for the memory to last this length.
(It's recommended that you use longer lasting Energizer Lithium-ion AA batteries & the Kingston branded memory cards).
